Don't put potato in your fish cakes. Instead use cooked angelhair pasta. It'll function as a skeleton inside the cake, making it lighter, less mushy with much greater structural integrity. And less worrying about your fish cakes means more time for making ambient music.

One of the many tools I use to make my videoscapes is T3X2R - I never use just one tool but this one runs in Live (via Max) and while it'll react to audio just fine setting controls up with LFOs is way more random and fun.
