06.12.2025 01:05 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yup. And Iβm perfectly happy with what I have. You implied you needed a copy. Was trying to help. But I know some folks care about such things, so I was heading off the βyeah, butβ crowd.
06.12.2025 00:19 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yup. Plenty of options for that.
06.12.2025 00:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Lost Whamageddon after work today. But there was a category on Jeopardy called βletβs give Star Wars a handβ and I swept it.
You win some. You lose some. π€£
Iβll be there with bells on. Or, like, an orange flight suit or something.
05.12.2025 21:27 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Not remastered. But.
05.12.2025 21:26 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I luckily have the one version that exists. The βbonus featuresβ disc from the 2006 release. In looking up the year just now, I discovered you can still buy them.
Hoping they do release it again. But if not, thatβs an option for you.
a drawing of a cute cat making a statement about ai (it sucks)
oops it's her again

There were four kids in my house. One washed, one rinsed, one dried, one had the night off.
Perfectly fine to let them dry on their own, of course. But with six people, that doesnβt fit in a rack well. And yeah. Donβt think I ever had a dishwasher until I was an adult.
I mean, anyone eating your food? Food safety is important. ;)
But yes. Itβs rage bait and silly.
BEHOLD
so I asked Rhys to sing to me about Ed and Stede and now I'm on the floor and this is stuck in my head
@finnanhaddie.bsky.social Ha! Just read your bio. Iβm all of those things too! Well, probably queer over gay here, as thatβs complicated, but still. I just donβt live in Boston. Used to live in Western Mass, though. Close enough? π€£
05.12.2025 03:12 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Jeopardy category of βOn The Maine Land.β
Five years in Maine. Five questions in the category.
Swept it! ππ§Ή
Right?!
See also: famine.
Not to be dramatic, but the four horsemen do not ride alone.
Sigh. This is depressing. But seriously, safe food doesnβt just magically appear. Without a fully staffed USDA/APHIS, how would we feed this many people?
Weβ¦wouldnβt. You think grocery prices are high now?!
This. And also, I didnβt mention food supply. My side of the aisle (veterinary) is regulated by the FDA and USDA too. We have historically been very good at disease control. But without adequate medications and especially inspections/oversight, expect a tainted food supply and more zoonotic disease.
05.12.2025 01:57 β π 18 π 5 π¬ 1 π 0I got them wrong more often than I got them right. The skill to solve the puzzle is not innate. The determination might be, but itβs likely learned too. Weβre all born and made. And yes, we all have different proclivities. But regardless of all that, the point stands. Repetition matters.
04.12.2025 23:12 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I loved physics. And I did rather well in it. But I drew a picture every time.
As for organic chemistry, where I did well enough I worked in the lab afterward, I remember doing the equations over and over and over until I got them right. To me, it was a puzzle I had to keep trying to solve.
I learned as a child from my dad. Partner never learned. I got her No Stress Chess and it seemed to really help her learn as an adult.

04.12.2025 02:35 β π 54 π 16 π¬ 0 π 1I saw a pic of Simon Pegg the other day (in a βbest comedyβ type list) and it just turned my stomach. So done with all of them.
03.12.2025 18:59 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ok. So. I watched and shared. As you do. As I did I was all: βRemember that thing on storm water management and this video from a while ago? That was cool.β
Then I scrolled up. And, uh⦠small internet. ;)
First you watch. Then you share.
Rules are rules.
Ranking star wars movies is complicated because there are certain themes that resonate with-- no I'm kidding, in one of them an ewok hugs Han Solo's leg and says "Ay Chihuahua." So that's number one with a bullet
24.11.2025 21:22 β π 778 π 108 π¬ 5 π 1I mean, depending on where a kid lives, Chagas Disease might be a legitimate risk. This is a valid fear.
(Yes, I get the joke. But Chagas is horrible, so I immediately sympathized with the kid.)
What size feet do you have? I have a pair that probably has many years left, but they are slightly too small for me. Let me know.
