Is there any way to get this edition with the posters and slipcovers on Gruv? I don’t see any listing for it there.

Or are the exclusive editions for Shout/Scream gone with the wind?

Looks like the poster editions are gone. There was a Herzog’s Nosferatu set with two slipcovers and two posters that doesn’t seem to exist on the Gruv site now. End of an era.

Beginning of the end for Shout/Scream I think. Looks like they’re liquidating.

Still kind of incredible that this guy says things and the press prints them as if they have meaning.

This is a nonsensical post.

Don’t want to be unnecessarily doom n gloom, but I see virtually no chance of that happening.

Mike Johnson is treating this entire year as a single legislative day just to avoid it coming up for a vote.

Unless Johnson and most GOP turn on Trump…

If it does happen, can’t he just veto it anyway, or can they do it with simple majority?

Frankly, I'm increasingly convinced that none of us--not even the most experienced among us with the rise of authoritarian regimes--know how to deal with what is happening in the U.S. now. Perhaps I'm wrong. Perhaps I'm overstating the uniqueness of the current experience. But there is no doubt...

Really hard to find buyers for used Teslas now.

Trumpers don’t buy electric cars, and anti-Trumpers won’t buy a Tesla.

Senator Elissa Slotkin lists the ways that people can fight back to stand up for our democracy.

Love this!!!!

You really do have some of the smartest commentary on these times. The fact that it’s also some of the most despondent is sobering.

It’s Orwellian. Bezos will redefine those things to mean whatever Trump says they mean.

I don’t get the comparison. Trump is not for free markets or personal liberty. He’s for one-man manipulation of the markets with his tariffs and horseshit.

Ayn Rand would’ve hated him with a passion.

I’ve already been a nervous flyer for years. This has me thinking I’m just not going to fly for the foreseeable future.

Yes. Also I’m honestly not sure I’m going to be flying at all once Elon finishes ransacking and β€œupgrading” the FAA.

And don’t forget blue-city polling places in swing states being shut down for hours due to bomb threats on Election Day.

But now we know Trump can and will shut down appropriated money. As soon as these people sign the dotted line, he’ll stop payments.

Agree with Scott that Dems need to fight dirty, but his calls to hold hearings and subpoena people falls flat. doesn’t he know the GOP is in the majority in Congress? Dems don’t have the power to subpoena anyone or initiate hearings. The committees are owned by Trump.

Or in RFK’s case, to get Trump to reward him with a cabinet position. Or in Stein’s case, whatever Putin’s paying her.

Who cares? She can always try again. A 3rd-party candidate has ZERO ability to win the Presidency. It’s not possible. And if it magically happened, she’d have no partners in Congress and wouldn’t be able to do anything anyway. 3rd party presidential runs are only good for grifters to get book deals.

23.01.2025 23:08 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Eh… why would she go into exile? She’s a member of Congress and has a lot of power already. The party she already belongs to has a lot of infrastructure and support. Starting a new one from scratch would be self-defeating.

Jill Stein accepted the free services of Trump’s lawyer. Her campaign manager also publicly stated they knew she won’t win, but their goal is for Harris to lose. Your vote for her WAS a vote for Trump.

A party that’s committed to electing Republicans by siphoning the votes of gullible leftists away from the Democratic candidate.

How long until Bezos stops allowing them to freely report the news if it’s critical of Trump? I suspect those mandates will be coming soon.

Garland allowed a man who attempted a coup against this country to walk free. You will never convince me otherwise.

Garland also buried Vol 2 of the Smith report.

I’ll never forgive him for his whole shameful performance of β€œjustice”.
