Keir Starmer has appointed as his new Comms Director Tim Allan who was a board member of the hate group Sex Matters. It's no longer even pretending to adhere to its Manifesto promise to "remove indignities for trans people who deserve recognition and acceptance."

The Labour playbook is basically do the authoritarian fascism but shaking your head the whole time to show you dont agree with it

The real shame was how they flattened Elizabeth's character - a lot of the whimsy comes from the increasingly ridiculous things she's meant to have done in life, yet still no one says "were you a spy?", and a lot of the pathos from how her secrecy keeps her hiding Stephen's condition from friends.

I wasn't expecting it to be a 1:1 recreation of the book, but there were so many changes I spent half the time thinking "I don't remember this happening" and the other half explaining logical leaps that didn't make sense without bits they'd cut.

I don't even 'identify' as an Arsenal supporter. I am an Arsenal supporter.
