I think it's fair to say the IOC is more than a bit mad about Indonesia and the FIG. (And the indonesian government's and federation's actions and statement are making it very hard so see a reason why Worlds should not be cancelled.)

I am not a fan of Worlds potentially being canceled, but if it happens, maybe the one positive thing could be that the national federations (which make up the FIG...) get a wakeup call when the fallout hurts them financially, and it's not just some gymnast who is thrown under the bus.

I've written on reddit about why the current visa issues for Israeli athletes in Indonesia, combined with the FIG's rules on visas, may lead to the 2025 Artistic Worlds being cancelled or annulled in the future by the CAS. A gymnastics Sunday read, basically:

Germany will send WAGs Karina Schönmaier, Silja Stöhr and Jesenia Schäfer and MAGs Timo Eder, Nils Dunkel, Gabriel Eichhorn, Artur Sahakyan to Jakarta.

Karina Schönmaier will go to Worlds in Jakarta (which never really was in doubt). The only question for me is if they will send Lea Wartmann with her.

I don't have the final AA scores, because of Sportlicht is still THE WORST SCORING PROGRAM EVER.

Lea Wartmann finishes the competition with a great floor routine. 12.100 (4.5 D)

Karina got a 13.150 (5.4D) for her floor routine. Looks like a couple of smaller things didn't get credit or got downgraded - the intended full D would be a 5.7.

Silja Stöhr had a really bad beam day and fell three times.
