Thank you for the reminder. I spent some good time with Endtime Signals today. I need to swim upstream from this album.

I hadn't heard of them either until a few months ago, when YouTube recommended one of the singles from their next album as something I might like. And I did like it.
Intense and propulsive. I've had Descent and the EP The Forgotten on high rotation since.

I've been listening to Orbit Culture a bit the past few weeks. The 2023 Forgotten album, and the singles from the new album out soon. Also Ne Obliviscaris, after seeing them live last month.

I paused over DT's latest on my Bandcamp list just the other day. Might have to play it today. 😎

Quite frankly, I'm looking forward to meeting our ASKAP masters when they get here. Humans have set such a low bar on many fronts, there's at least a reasonable chance that they'd do better.

Not a story I tell very often, but my first contact with French poetry, which I now study for a living, happened through Black Sabbath. That's really good to hear. I heard the author being interviewed and it sounded really interesting, and read an extract from it online publication (without knowing where it was from until the end), so I've wanted to read the whole book since.

I don't have all my pens inked at the one time, but they all get a turn. They are certainly tools. Like my screwdriver set, some get used more than others, but they all get used.

I love Rhodia / Clairfontaine notebooks, although not everyone likes their smoothness. I've also got a couple of Midori notebooks waiting to try.
Paper is a very personal thing, like pens and inks. The fun part is working out what you like, which paper works best with particular pens / nibs, etc.

Someone here made a joke a while ago about turning up for an important event looking like you'd been fingerprinted by the cops.

The pink one looks like a Pilot Prera. I use mine every day or two, beautiful and light in the hand.
