I do really wish more reporters would just ask "Speaker Johnson, do you think it’s appropriate for the Speaker of the House—third in line of succession to the presidency—to be so consistently unfamiliar with current events?"

IMO one uncomfortable truth is that the moral reckoning we’re seeing in America is hitting both parties hard. Klobuchar and Newsome are two great examples. Any dem who can’t hold a moral high ground isn’t the right fit for us now, at midterms or in 2028.
