Missourians organized and got abortion rights in the MO Constitution, passed Medicaid expansion, passed sick-leave, increased minimum wage, etc…. But we need to run more right-leaning candidates?? Ok. Klein and Tanden can go kick rocks.

Sure. We can and we are. But it helps a lot when you get some help, rather than having to do it alone. In 2022 fewer than 1/2 of MO’s 180 legislative contests had candidates from both parties. The Dems have some responsibility to get in here and spend some $$.

The MO Dem party left us so long ago. Yeah, candidates choose to run but the MO Dem party just gave up on us years ago. Most races don’t even have a Dem candidate on the ballot. Missourians can’t vote for an empty space on a ballot. The MO Dem party can help spur people to run and they are, now

Living in MO is like living in a black hole. We do the work to get progressive policy done and it just gets sucked back into the abyss. And national Dems like Klein act like progressive Dems don’t exist in the very state where we passed those policies.
