Whither the Boomers? Census Bureau 2024 estimates by single year of age for United States indicate Baby Boom generation (born circa 1946-1964) has slipped below 70 million. Boomers are 10 million fewer than in 2010 and have lost more than 1 million per year over last four years.

Our two papers on abortion bans and fertility/infant mortality are now out.

In 14 states w/ abortion bans, fertility increased 1.7% and infant mortality increased 6%.

Key takeaway is that these impacts were disproportionately felt among those w/ greatest structural disadvantages.
