I think having a screen tablet where I don't have to worry so much about hand-eye coordination def helps.

And it helps that a lot of the faces are ones I've drawn many times before 😅

Was there a peasant child who, between chores, would doodle sketches of their favorite things in the dirt with a twig? Or on a piece of cloth with a bit of charcoal from the stove?

Thinking of all the famous paintings of the past, and wondering what works of art were lost to time. Artists whose works that history forgot. Or artists who were never lucky enough to find patrons or were too busy trying to survive.

Listening to orchestral performances and wondering what each individual musician went through. How many hours, days, years of practice got them to that moment of recording?

Lately, I've been experiencing something very similar to "Sonder", but specifically in the case of artistry.

Maybe hardened criminals shouldn't be on the internet making blanket statements about how they're proud of everyone.
