A photo of a small sea slug that is primarily green with pink tipped cerata. The green colour comes from the stolen chloroplasts that the slug uses to photosynthesise and produce sugars. It has two small black “eyes” on its face with a yellow patch below.

So this little #SeaSlug is a type of sap sucker in the genus Costasiella. These are not technically #Nudibranch and belong in the super order of #Sacoglossa. They perform kleptoplasty where they steal chloroplasts from their Avrainvillea algae host and utilise them for photosynthesis

The more I clean up the dining room worktable, the more the cats are determined to be on it. ಠ_ಠ Almost like there was a reason I let it get so covered with stacks of books etc. ...

This is what we are looking for assistance with. It’s basically an entire year of vet costs for every cat, minus a few high cost procedures that we were able to cover up front. They’ve been waiting to bill us because they knew we’ve been struggling with fundraising this year and the cats need care.

I’m not going to win any prize for being a good patient today. Safe to say I’m ready to be done with this and back to my regular life. But my bloods were good, I got my fluids and my chemo and I’ll be back on Tuesday and then a TWO WEEK BREAK again. Woot woot.
