RT If you support him, it is the only way there will be justice.
There are calls for Lord Eric Pickles to resign from the House of Lords he complained to the Grenfell Inquiry that he was missing important lunches.
Like if he needs to resign.
RT if he needs to be fired.
Well said Keir Starmer.ππ

Well what do you know. Reform UK's former leader in Wales has just been accused in court of accepting bribes in exchange for making statements in the European Parliament that would benefit Russia.

RT if Mick is right.
Not a single person has been put on trial for killing 72 people at Grenfell.
But they can lock up non-violent Just Stop Oil protestors for more than 60 years, because they are a 'danger'.
Really struck today by how many of the people most responsible for the Brexit shitshow were actively rewarded for their stupidity/dishonesty. Knighthoods, Damehoods, peerages, newspaper columns, seats in the House of Commonsβ¦ Itβs a mark of how deep the rot has gone into the fabric of our society.

Kemi Badenochβs comments on the grooming gangs show her to be incapable of doing the job she currently holds and unfit for the one she seeks:

It's like trying to run a bath and refusing to put the plug in.
It is never going to fill up.
Farage suggests he'll set up an 'unoffical inquiry into grooming gangs'.
How, how does anyone take these people seriously?
Oh ffs. The attention-seeking grift is endless.
As is the abject failure of every single bloody stupid and obnoxious idea Farage has.
Please join the dots, people. Itβs demeaning for the whole country that you canβt work this out.
Elon Musk is starting to risk getting Jess Phillips killed. She's been safeguarding minister for six months. She oversaw nothing relating to the rape gangs. As an opposition MP she was one of the most prominent campaigners for the victims.
What he's doing is a travesty.
Why is it that Labour appears to be unwilling to cause any kind of βdiplomatic incidentβ while Trump and Musk are quite happy to be diplomatically incontinent all over the place? Would very much like our govt to protect our democracy and show some ruthless national self-respect.

Jess Phillips and Keir Starmer could get seriously rich if they wanted to take Musk to courtβ¦

At some point someone in the British government has to hit back at Musk. If he was just some rich guy, fine - whatever. Enjoy your drugs. But he is a leading figure in the incoming US administration. Is our policy now that foreign governments can speak this way about us without any consequence?

Five months ago, I recorded a 10-minute explanation, as a former regulator, of why the UK would be not only perfectly within its rights to ban twitter, but probably ought to.
Maybe now people will listen.

Genuine question
Is there any former major Cabinet Minister of any party whose political ambition has NOT been for personal financial benefit in the end?
