Well after being unemployed for a wearying length of time (and refusing all offers to return to vetting) I’m now working as a medical secretary for a gastroenterologist. I’m all over the medical terms, but the volume of admin takes some getting used to!

People will be disappearing up their own bottoms at this rate!

Forgive the self promotion but a couple of events coming up that I'm taking part in. On Thursday 25th I'm on a panel with Neil Forsyth (Guilt, The Gold) Really looking forward to this....I think it might be full but you might be able to register for the online version if you fancy it.

This is my second event of the week. I'll be at the Byres Rd Book Festival with my friend and collaborator, Aisling Walsh. This one is sold out too but there's a waiting list you can join. Eventbrite events often sell out then folk don't always turn up on the night, so it's definitely worth doing

I FINALLY have a permanent part-time job! No more infrequent casual stuff! I can get some routine back in my life other than the gym!

Aww damn, I spent several weeks driving from Lee-on-Solent to Dorking to work on James May’s Lego house! I could have done a more scenic route! Mind you Abinger Hammer is scenic- couldn’t get much more chocolate box-y.
