Once again, Canada's resources are not just sitting here waiting for Americans to take them. Please stop with this!!

Everyone realizes they’re trying to shift the Overton Window, right?

They’re conditioning you to be accepting of the insane shit they’re doing now so you’ll accept the more insane shit they do later.

The fuck is he even talking about? Now is the time for the NDP to swing hard on policy, not to gargle on platitudes. What's the plan, Jagmeet? Values won't protect our economic interests.

what Musk is doing is as close to the government being taken over by a hostile foreign power in our lifetimes, the coverage should reflect that

They intend for shock and awe. To overwhelm and make themselves seem omnipotent. To bask in liberal tears.

But they are not omnipotent and none of this is inevitable

The similarities between Jian Ghomeshi & Neil Gaiman are astounding.

But here's the lesson : Ghomeshi was acquitted by the legal system but unequivocally cancelled by Canadians.

We, as consumers of art & media, took all his power away.

We can do the same to Gaiman.

Now would be the time for the NDP to put forward a campaign of big swings. Universal basic income. Investing in green technologies. Regulating AI. Taxing the mega rich. Stop trying to chase an imaginary middle-of-the-road voter. Go big and bold. Call out lies & grifts.

one major improvement i've seen in the world over the course of my lifetime is the emergence of lightly-salted sweets. i just swung by a bakery to pick up a chocolate chip cookie and it had the slightest flaking of kosher salt on it. that shit went crazy. i think we're doing great in that department
