That hostage situation is such a relic of a previous era, but I was alive when it happened (barely). Need to watch the video now too.

I'm only a bit in, but the conversation about the hostage situation is so fascinating. Just thinking about how coming across this random/insane thing in your childhood could impact someone so much is both wild and so logical.

I wrote my grad thesis on MP3 blogs 19 years ago. @aquariumdrunkard.com was one of a number of sites that hosted my survey. It's still my favorite place to learn about the good shit. Thanks for helping me out then and all the cool stuff now.
