So why are Cdn users still blocked from sharing?

American social media companies who never had to pay, began blocking the sharing of news content in Canada on Facebook and Instagram starting in August 2023. The ban effectively prevents Canadian users from accessing or sharing on these platforms.

Canada never implemented or collected the 3% Digital Sales Tax on American social media companies which was due to go into effect on June 30th 2025. Then, Prime Minister Carney rescinded the proposed DST in order not to harm ongoing "trade talks" with the WH. 1/2

I agree. A lot more attention needs to be paid the role that SCOTUS played in giving p47 absolute immunity and placing him as a felon with many legit indictments above the law. They have a lot to answer for. A bigger spotlight needs to focus on their responsibility for this nightmare scenario.
