Welcome.

23.02.2026 05:04 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0There are at least 500 Windows-compatible gamepads. You don't need to implement them. Providing a pure keyboard/mouse mode would be good enough.
Xbox/PS plug-and-play would need to be implemented, if you want them.

21.02.2026 13:14 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I like how you don't use the fact that the 2D graphics are easy to lay out, as an excuse to justify not putting shadows on them.
I would love to find out that the game doesn't end up interfering with JoyToKey.
Striking
21.02.2026 02:33 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0We're tryin' to get to the point where it's socially acceptable to attach controllers to guns, without including gyro or light gun technology.

Download Vaporwave Battler, and fight vaporwave creatures instead.
And if you don't know what vaporwave is, that's half the reason to do it.
It does look good. The Blender detail surprised me.
20.02.2026 23:55 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0If you have something like Photoshop or GIMP, it should be a fairly quick process to draw a few smoke puffs, then make then rise while they become more transparent.

20.02.2026 13:31 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The Itch.io game Hollowspire wasn't made with gun controllers in mind, yet it doesn't matter, because the game is first-person, and uses simple mouse movement, which is easy to run through JoyToKey.
20.02.2026 13:23 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0It isn't necessary to include controller-recognizing code.
I would be delighted to test a later build, and if it turns out that the game only really works well with keyboards and Xbox controllers, then I'll be cool with that.
If the game has keyboard and mouse defaults, it already has broad controller support. The interesting question to me is how well the controller plug-and-play code (that you're working on) keeps to itself.
20.02.2026 03:01 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I meant Xbox controller plug-and-play code. I could test a build myself.
20.02.2026 02:49 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Does it have Xbox plug-and-play code that keeps to itself?
