Thank goodness I've got my ADHD meds back. Makes it POSSIBLE to concentrate, but I don't have the stamina. After intense concentration and development on my game yesterday, today I'm fucking WRECKED. I brained too hard!

I was annoyed when volume 2 didn't have the same form factor as volume 1. Then I saw the reveal of vol3 and I'm simultaneously furious and delighted. Well played xD

I had written/drawn a story about a tiny tiger who hatched from an egg under a leaf. I was read the riot act cause tigers don't hatch from eggs. I knew that, it was a cute little story, but she didn't care. This for me is a symbol of resilience. The horrors persist, yet I remain silly.

I'm naming my game-making entity Tiny Tiger, after an incident in the first grade when a horrible teacher tried to squash my creativity. I will NOT be squashed, though I may be small and weird!

I assembled a heated house for the outdoor kitties and Zelda kept jumping inside. Eventually my husband grabbed her and gave her a lecture about it being for less fortunate kitties and reminding her she gets to sleep on top of US for warmth. I don't think she was very impressed.

Oh shit I never showed this, but she's running around! I have her flying too, but it feels REAL BAD at the moment.
Animations are just key frames and some procedural stuff for now, until I get sick of tweaking flight params and go back to blender.

I am so, SO proud of all my friends and family in Minnesota. I'm so proud of all of you that I don't know. I wish my life had shaken out slightly differently in a way that would have led me to live among you, but on the whole I am just so proud to call you neighbors.

There's a pet/breeding portion to this game and I absolutely want to include bird of paradise style displays and fancy flying. The image of a pair of eagles locked on the wing is incredible

I'm animating each ground mobility state at the same speed, with the idea of adjusting animation speed in-engine. I FEEL like that'll make blending between easier but I don't know for sure. Here's to experimenting!
