Aside from her poetry, which is beautiful, Jane Zwart taught me my favorite classroom trick, which is Rumpelstiltskin-ing.

As the granddaughter of an apple farmer, this aligns with my own niche interests too - Sneller Orchards went out of business when my uncle Andy retired; too hard to make a living as a small scale fruit farmer these days.
