Stephen Miller: "Eventually elections don’t carry the day because violence beats votes… When we see a muscular response from the federal government, it’s because we’re not going to let violence beat votes."
Is he implying federal intervention determines political legitimacy, not ballots or courts?

1-3/4 cups 00, 3 eggs, up to a tablespoon of water based on how dry your flour is, wait 30 minutes, use an extruder or press small amount with thumb to make orichette-ish. Or our President could just stop being such a community buttplug.

Journalist Edward R. Murrow used his platform on CBS to criticize the witch hunts led by Senator Joseph McCarthy in the 1950s.
This is what real journalism should do — hold power to account, not capitulate to it.

But do we trust Trump to honor any deal? He doesn't honor the constitution, and listens to Voigt and Musk to just deny legally allocated funding when they so please.

It’s of note that during tonight’s hearing the DoJ didn’t even try to make the case that changing conditions on the ground in Portland warranted the CA National Guard. Instead they relied on legal technicalities. Proving again that what they say in court is different than lies they tell the public.

A growing number of scientists are backing laws recognizing that nature has inherent rights and intrinsic value. A group of wetlands scientists wants the critical ecosystems they study to be next.
The rights of nature is one of the fastest-growing movements on the planet. Now, scientists are increasingly signing on, working with Indigenous communities and others to advance laws and philosophies on behalf of the more-than-human world.

If U.S. states have any degree of sovereignty, if there’s any states’ rights at all, it is the right not to be invaded by the armed forces of another U.S. state.

How about a per capita tax for those flown over? This would mean that in urban areas transplant organs between hospitals can go by drone, but transporting toilet paper and pizza won’t be cost effective.
