It irritates me a bit that my main artistic strength is being a raconteur on a stage, because I sometimes think I'd rather be a comfortably reclusive writer and spend my delicious anonymous private time walking in the woods and thinking up new stories.

My Citroën ends up in so many of my photos because it's so photogenic I can't help but focus on it in the way a skeevy director will tend to keep Solveig Dommartin, Milla Jovovich, or Jean Marais in frame for a whole film. Plus, it's less coy than a handsome cat.
