My last thought on all this is that, if someone feels frustrated with how so much culture feels sexually charged or isolating of anyone who doesn't feel these things, you are heard. You deserve to be able to talk about your experiences & have people listen + connect, but not at the expense of others

Sexual content isn't something for me with me being ace and all, but I fully understand that I don't get to control people's lives and would rather walk away from something I don't want to be a part of than have someone else not be allowed to make a living or express themselves.

Don't like sexual/kink content? Filter it out, block users if you need to, and walk away from a situation if you must. It does take effort to do this, yes, but it is vital as conservative viewpoints move the goalpost on what is considered sexual or inappropriate into people's identities.

The rise of Puritan, anti-sex stances existing in several queer spaces I've been in is one that only benefits conservatives. I understand someone not wanting that content in their space specifically, but that is something they would need to filter out and curate rather than police and limit others.
