Been getting my reps in on OOP recently. Check out my GitHub to see my work. I've basically have been building projects based on what Claude suggests to me. Each project depends on what I'm trying to learn (right now, I'm working on Polymorphism). It tells me what I need to do, not how to do it.

Finally finished the first guided project on Boot.dev. I'm not going to lie, this project was basically curve stomping me left and right. Made it all the more worth it once I made it work.

I whipped up a small program called "pyjump" that adds the appropriate start content you need for a typical Python project. It's VERY new (it's 4 lines of code) and I'm still very much learning. That said, I do want to build this to be more robust based on my needs.

Been chugging along working on small projects lately. It's crazy the things you learn despite thinking you have a "good enough" grasp of how functions and dictionaries work. I truly am Boo-boo the Fool.

Plus, I also just enjoy the act of programming. It genuinely wouldn't be the same if Claude did all the work for me.

Currently learning programming myself. I use AI mainly to help me better understand concepts or why something may or may not be working, but NOT to just flat out give me the answer. I want it to force me to solve it myself.

If AI disappeared one day, I want to still know what I'm doing without it.

Looking to link up with #softwareengineers not only in the #boston area, but also throughout #massachusetts and #newengland on Bluesky! I'm currently learning backend as someone coming from the film industry and would love to get to know people in tech!
