Truth.

Living in an age where people equate fame and/or wealth to importance and/or intelligence is terrible and overwhelming.

People who don't study or respect history havetrouble understanding what certain symbols mean and why and how they are important and rely on others to direct their ire. Meanwhile, some who do will take every advantage of their ignorance. Pretty sure this administration is filled with both.

We are about to see what happens to Walmart when their own employees can no longer buy food from Walmart. I bet the Waltons start squealing over SNAP soon.

We continue to choose the economic model of capitalism over the governmental system of democratic republic every time. Wealth makes right has replaced might makes right.

Sometimes I think bin Laden knew all he had to do was unleash the fears we already held and watch us sacrifice our freedoms on the altar of safety and security.

Golf courses are fine, but even joking they should replace parks would have enraged most of his followers only a decade ago. They want to pave your fishung ponds, man!

Never saw the 180 on Russia coming, but I guess the desire for the South to rise again was greater than the dangers of such terrible allies for many.

I knew 20 years ago when I was stationed in New Jersey what the people of New York and the surrounding areas thought of Trump. I still can't believe the people from my home state fell for a carpetbagging scumbag, but desperation is often how people start sending checks to strangers.

Con artists are performers. The makeup and bombast makes perfect sense.

For all the people that wanted to know what it would ve like to have a CEO run a country, we're here. He thinks he can make decisions for all of us and he is in charge. Countries are not businesses, they are commonwealths.

Every once in awhile I'm forced to wonder if he believes most people are stupid enough to believe him or if he is just that stupid himself.

The hard part for most is the math behind that 65k average income. Looks decent on the surface, but it's not.

Speeches should have a specific audience and a purpose. Not everything is entertainment. The highest level executive in the country should know that.

I don't know how this is difficult. Pay people a living wage, better healthcare, affordable pregnancies and births, making sure families can choose their planning, finances, and safety.

More and more of our elected representatives, and by extension our appointed officials, are either delusional or willing to take advantage of the delusions of others because we allowed the concepts of factual and evidence-based to be undemined by feelings and vibes.

You are paying more because of increased privatization, rent-seeking, and less competition. The wealthy want you focused on other things.

He just lied. He said whatever he thought would get votes and people believed him, whether because of optimism, stupidity, fear or hatred. He's just a conman.

Some people don't want freedom. They want someone to tell them what to do, where to go, and what to believe.

I've been hearing the discourse about people who think opinions and facts are the same thing. As a person who likes to live in reality, this terrifies me.

Overnight, House Republicans passed a budget that would give huge tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy at the expense of everyone else.

Now, it's on to the Senate.

How do we make "be nice, understanding, and share your interests with people" popular in a world where most people hide behind screens?

It's going to he hard to talk to people who believe everything is a lie. Find a connection and earn a little trust. Work outward from there.

Don't lose sight of your personal goals. Don't lose what makes you unique.

The majority of US citizens feel powerless. Too many think they can get some power by trusting in a very dangerous man. We have to remind as many as possible that real power is in community and being responsible for a government intended to be managed by its people.

Make sure you don't lose sight of yourself during the struggle. It's good to defend others, but not at the cist of your identity.

Someone needs to preach "Loose lips sink ships" to our highest security officials.

Can I go back and say yes to the gifts I was offered while I worked for the government or is that still bad for enlisted types with a security clearance?
