Cast Away was a labor of love built over many sleepless nights for the sole purpose of giving my then-GM a system that perfectly suited his playstyle & captured his love of wilderness-survival games like The Long Dark. We had no plans for a public release but he begged us to give it a shot. 🧵

That’s something I think I would have really liked when I was growing up! But I didn’t really know that existed back then!

Yeah, I’ve always been a creative mind, but I never really had the right outlet of expression until TTRPGs!

Other media! My first TTRPG was DnD 5e when it first came out! So, Skyrim, LotR, and other fantasy stuff really primed my interest in it! Plus, some of my friends wanted to play, too! 😊

I’ll also say, I did WANT to do theatre, I just had more interest in sports. 😂

I really like this breakdown of storytelling styles! I never really thought about this like that, but I also never really did any of my school focus on arts, so that makes sense. 😂

Just adding that I wasn't a theatre kid! I was actually a sports person all the way through high school! 😂

Do you remember when that one YouTube channel tried to trademark "Reaction" videos?

Well, I just saw a video of someone "reacting" to an AI video of whether something was cake or real...

I'm starting to think they should have trademarked those...

It's almost getting to the point where I'm having trouble responding to all the YouTube comments from the How to Play #Daggerheart videos and #Bitten.

This is a nice problem to have. 😂

I've always hated the word "master" in the context of someone learning from their "master", so it will come as no surprise when I say, I hate the title "Game Master".

Oddly enough, I really like the sound of GM, though... Someone said it can mean "Game Moderator," and I LOVE that.

I just got an email from someone saying that my #Daggerheart videos were super helpful for getting them started on a game with their family and I just about cried reading it! 😭

It was so great to play with you! Looking forward to PAXU so we can have a rematch! 😉
