Watched SAVAGE THREE (1975) This is one nihilist film. A supremely bleak and bloody study of youthful amorality. I'd like to watch this one again, but I think I need a shower first.

This film has one of my absolute favourite exploding helicopters! Powers Boothe's long fall to his fiery doom is epic. His ignominy only heightened by the terrible false moustache and wig.

Watched BEGINNING OF THE END (1957) Bert I Gordon's 'When Giant Locust Attack' movie. I wish it had been dafter, which given some of the 'science' in the film, may sound mad.

If there was one director you'd have thought who'd be nailed on NEVER to have made a film with an exploding helicopter, it'd be Wes Anderson...
