Perk of the job - hearing the fabulous Julian Bliss rehearse Mozart clarinet concerto ahead of his performance with @rteco.rte.ie tonight!

Thoroughly enjoyed returning to Feuerwerk Einbeck piano academy in Germany last weekend and talking to the students about performance psychology.
We discussed stress, adrenaline, and their effects on us and also how to consistently deliver optimum performances regardless of circumstances.

Fantastic initiative from Blooming Crumlin giving away fruit trees and shrubs. Delighted to have snagged some apple trees and looking forward to enjoying the results in the years to come!

It was such a pleasure performing Mozart with Dublin Orchestral Players last week!

What a wonderful group to play with, and I couldn’t resist posting a short clip from the rehearsal - possibly the most introspective passage in the piece, the recapitulation in the melancholy second movement.
