In light of Patrick Tomlinson's recent #abuses of #Black people, I've started wondering if his attacks on me are motivated by his #racism and other #biases.

I am co-owner of a 50% Black-owned, 50% woman-owned, and 100% intersectionally owned literary agency.

Hypersomnia is weird because you wake up feeling tipsy, which is pleasant. But if I don't want to waste today sleeping until 6, I have to struggle against my body. And for me, it's stupid tipsy and I literal bounce off walls and leave my phone in the fridge.

Yeah, I can understand that! If I may give you guidance, I suggest getting involved with writing and critique groups. It can be difficult to find one that feels both comfortable and challenging, but well worth the search. Also a good editor! What genre are you thinking in?

Huh, that's very interesting! For us, we're trying to bring your vision to the audience. When we edit your book, the edits are suggested to sharpen the story you want to tell. I want it to be your voice.

Although I obviously can't speak for all, but I've never met an agent who didn't require the full manuscript before considering a first-time author. Most of us also require a synopsis or outline and a query letter.

I call Histrionic Personality Disorder with additional features of other Cluster B personality disorders, most notably Narcissistic and Borderline.

He tends to pick on people he thinks are in culturally underprotected demographics. Be careful, as he's been known to stalk people, including myself.

I am so happy to live in one of the most diverse medium-sized cities in the US! It's so nice to sit on my deck and hear different music, kids playing, and ladies chatting in various languages.
