when i gave you that staff i could not have foreseen the chain of events leading up to this moment

Maybe I am also getting worn out by zines that expect full masterpieces as submissions? But anyway, I think the raw, emboldened, & passionate forms of not just fandom, but also base creation, are slowly dying -- & we should resurrect them. Feverishly.

As much as it is nice to make money from zines (I say as an artist who as been in multiple for-profit publications), I really do think it would be nice if we, as artists, as innovators, as people with passion, also returned to collections of doodles with friends, jumbled into pdfs & printed at home.

People who work on video games deserve better than the video game industry.
