🌹Roses need some more players to step up and bring the spark, seems to fall to Housby/Fadoju (Pearson in game 2)
🇿🇦 Overall very impressive growth from SA over the international season, looking scary for comm games, looking forward to seeing Visser/Golob/Maseko debut in NSL

🌹Why play Housby at GS - don't really feel this is a long term option, very happy to have Pearson swing to WA and Shaw off court (still don't think she is roses material...) also, maybe don't hesitate to sub shooters with 60% accuracy....

More general thoughts from the series -
🌹Why being Metcalfe and Cardwell when they are both lacking match fitness/practice, might have been better to leave them from international games until after NSL season.

A bit late but some thoughts from the #RSAvENG #Netball. Storming game from 🇿🇦 in the decider, defence 🔥 especially Visser, looking forward to seeing her for 🦏. Roses showing lack of depth mid court and in attack, the game basically got away from them in a terrible few mins at end of Q1 🤦‍♀️

Well done to 🇳🇿 for taking the series win! More consistent all over court. I just don't think Shaw is roses level, behind her player, not offering, expensive in defense, relieving pressure on ferns. Low on mid court options this series and new shooting combinations looked shaky 🙈 #Netball #ENGvNZL

🎉🎉🎉 Great to see 🌹 get the win, exciting game coming up on Wed. Pearson is a much better play maker at WA, why is Fadoju always on Nweke in defence, the height mismatch is almost comical. Gordon is still scary in WA, Williams did a pretty good job though #Netball #ENGvNZ

Not a bad game from🌹 strange decision to start Shaw at C, and what happened to Pearson, is she on managed minutes? Missed Allison, Cobden ineffective in WD, and bringing on Adio did not work. NZ are sharp after all those tests with combos sorted, not sure why they don't start Gordon at WA #Netball

Such a close decider for the #ConstellationCup, does that count as a win for Aus in NZ now 😅 NZ defense were awesome to take out the 4th test, forcing lots of changes in attack, would NZ have won the decider with Gordon on court 🤔 #Netball

Didn't see that coming #ConstellationCup, NZ managed to stand up to the physicality, stepped up their defense through court, good to see them get a win! Aussie win drought in NZ continues. Lots of changes from both teams in that game, with mixed results 😅 #Netball

Game 1 of #ConstellationCup, 💎 slick and dominant, perfect game from Austin/Garbin. NZ very stagnant in attack, felt like they were always clearing away from the ball. Also lost the plot in defence in the last quarter. Hopefully some closer games in the rest of the series! #Netball

SA within touching distance of a single figure loss to Aussies. Maybe it can get closer in the next two tests. Nicola Smith had an awesome first half on Garbin, think SA had tired legs by the end and couldn't keep up their intensity. Good to see Watson get a rest for once 😅 #Netball #AUSvRSA

Shame🌹lacked consistency in the semi final (and were out-muscled by NZ), but bounced back to bring home a 🥉 one observation from the games I watched, alot of melodrama when getting called by the umpire 😅 Aussies were always going to be hard to beat with all the SSN experience #NWYC2025

...they have much better depth now, though weren't really able to switch up in defense (what can you do against Nweke). Van Der Berg showing why she has an SSN contract, Maseko looked better at WA, all SA shooters a bit spooked by Jackson's arms 😅

Enjoyed having some international #Netball to watch #NZvRSA, Silver Ferns looking scary! I don't think they missed Ekanasio, her and Nweke never worked that well together, and the SF squad is improved this year, bringing in Toeava etc. Hopefully SA pick up through the series...

And lots of complaints about the Aussie pathway... Personally I'm excited for SSN next year 😅 I did also see something about ANZ allowing two imports per team, so they might pick up a few more SA players (though doesn't seem they can get paid much....)
