I know this is often the case, but I also know that it doesn’t have to be. We can just care about people. So, do that, please.

It would be easier for many of us to remain quiet. To keep ourselves small, and safe. To defer telling folks we’d like to be called by a new name, to defer gender affirming medical care, or surgeries. It takes a lot of courage to go against the grain.

Cis folks: get louder. For us, for you.

The calls for trans people to be quieter as we're wiped out are only going to increase, and you owe it to your sisters and brothers to get louder and louder.
