I tried watching, but I didn’t make it through the first episode because the whole deadly global pandemic thing made me feel too upset and panicky (can’t imagine why). I need to try again, because everyone whose taste I trust loved it, and I loved the book.

I listened to a podcast in which they described the plot of the movie in detail and I found it so *incredibly upsetting* that I can’t imagine actually watching the movie.

I used to be in charge of purchasing supplies for the small school where I worked, and I’d go to Walmart at midnight during the summer sales to load up my cart with glue sticks, folders, and pencils. That way no one had to wait in line behind me while my zillions of items got rung up. 😂

I get irrationally(?) angry when watching Bake Off and the judges’ primary criticism is that something should have baked longer. GIVE THEM A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME THEN.

I was deep in postpartum hormones and filled with absolute DREAD the first time I took my baby in to get his shots, and what did they have playing in the lobby of the doctor’s office but The Land Before Fucking Time. I was a sobbing mess by the time it was our turn. 😂

Every time I say the name “Toby”, I say it in a Scottish accent but no one ever understands why.
