I work in Western Australia around the Pinjarra and Waroona ALCOA refineries and mine sites. I see spiders (and other native animals) often. Here are my photos. ππ¦πΊ Posts may be sporadic but I guarantee that all spiders/animals are ones I've found myself.

Still got cold mornings here, but the days are getting warmer. And with the warmer weather, the snakes are out again.
This little beauty just crossed my path. I got out to stop traffic so it could cross the refinery access road without getting squashed.

Hello. It's been a real while since my last post.
It's spring here now and the animals are really starting to come out of their winter homes.
Here's some pictures from the last few weeks. π
2 in one day! Looks really similar to a 'Redback'
Google:
Steatoda grossa, also known as the Cupboard Spider or Brown House Spider. Steatoda grossa is generally less harmful to humans.
Cute tiny jumping spider. Not harmful to humans at all, and would fit with lots of space to spare on your thumbnail. I love his little white 'gloves'.
