Haven't seen you in years but you're a good, smart and interesting person. I'm glad we're still connected.

Trump's father Fred Trump, who died at the age of 93, suffered from Alzheimer's.
In a recent interview with New York Magazine, Trump recalled: "At a certain age, about 86, 87, he started getting, what do they call it?"
Pointing to his head, he asked Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, to finish the sen-tence. "Alzheimer's," she said. "Like an Alzheimer's thing," Trump said.
"Well, I don't have it."

Shout out to George Grylls at The Times for this solid joke.

Isn't SD's problem the TV show Friends? Rachel putting mince in her trifle killed puddings with beef in them for at least a generation.

Ultimate sticky toffee pudding One of our most requested recipes – puddings don't get any better than this

You can make them! Not hard. www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/ulti...

Tips - don't put too much other stuff around it, don't burn it and whatever you do, make enough sauce.

I did once meticulously turn cubes of celeriac that I was roasting so each face got equal exposure. Were they sublime? Yes. Have I bothered to do it again? No

Caldo Verde. Sautéed onion & garlic, add stock, lots of kale, one potato (for texture), simmer for 20, blitz with a wand blender, add a couple of slices of chorizo and a bunch of shredded kale, simmer for another 10. This is a staple in Portugal, delicious and healthy.

Get a tumble dryer. Then you can defer the chungus life until the ironing.

Handing an unlocked box containing evidence of all your misdeeds to police feels suboptimal.

Muscle mass loss fear is what got me started. But yeah, I was also finding stuff could just ping and go bad, no obvious inciting incident. Since starting, much less of that, but now occasional gym strain injuries. 🤷

Just saw this one. It doesn't take a ton of training to make a difference. I found the once I started, the MH uplift meant I looked forward to training, no willpower required for the first year. A year and half in, I do sometimes need willpower now.

Are you doing any resistance training? Useful alongside the zempic. But yep weight loss = less comfy arse. I notice it on the sauna planks especially.

I miss the proper snow you get there. We got a light dusting for a few hours in London, instachaos for one afternoon then done.

Although after slipping on ice and nearly dying last year, maybe i don't miss it as much as i think I do.
