Tips for giving references: Keep it short and sweet, key details only and elaborate on things that need to be specific (decals, weapons, markings, etc etc) I do not need Lore unless it is directly relevant to conveying the style/theme of the subject. Image boards/collages, image refs, stick figure posing, photobashes, and other kinds of visual reference are very welcome and encouraged (Stick figure poses help alot!) There is often the figure of the colorist. There is also the letterer, the editor(s), the translator…

Perhaps if the development processes were more widely known, people would value the artworks and their costs more highly.
