I am so tired of the political polarization in this country.

The aftermath of Kirk's death shows how horrifically divided we have become. There is no common ground anymore.

The entire political system needs to be upended if we want even a shred of normalcy anymore.

The American people have lost.

Charlie Kirk is dead, and with it comes people either mourning or celebrating his passing.

Those who celebrate, morally ambiguous as that is, are being fired or even detained for it.

That is a direct violation of the first amendment. That is a direct violation of free speech.

Trump is a dictator.

Florida has just ended the vaccine mandate in their state, trying to say it is akin to "slavery."

How is it, genuinely, that there can exist a group of people this incredibly stupid?

And beyond that, that those same people can run the country and the State of Florida?

I am horrified.

The Republican Party is fundamentally corrupt.
The Democratic Party is fundamentally corrupt.

Blue or red simply can't cut it anymore. Both parties do not have the best interests of American citizens in mind.

That's something I've come to learn, and I couldn't be any angrier.

Not that anyone reads these, but I no longer live in Minnesota.
I love Minnesota, always will, and will always follow it's news.
But my parents are there, and for that reason I cannot ever stay.

I now live in Montana. A temporary stay, but it's beautiful here.

To think tensions in our country could get so bad, that lawmakers need to worry for their life.

I am reminded of the fear I felt during the George Floyd riots five years ago, only 20 miles from my home I could not feel safe.

I will always be vehemently against Trump, ICE's mission.

But this level of violence is a failure in morals.

And I do not know what Pakistan is doing either. What are you doing?

You are both nuclear powers, a war between you is something the world cannot afford.

Why must you make me feel shameful for where I was born and raised?

We should not be war-crazed lunatics.

I may be American, but I was born a Pakistani.

I do not have fondness for my family or how I was raised, and I do not have fondness for Islam for what it did to me.

But my home country has been attacked for reasons I cannot figure out, because our media is so saturated.

Trump's first State of the Union begins in about 20 minutes.

Republicans and Democrats both remain delusional, as always.

No, Republicans. The State of the Union is NOT good. It's nowhere near good. It's in the worst shape its been in years.

No, Democrats. Trump is NOT going to address any of it.

Trump and Vance invited President Zelenskyy, a real leader, into the Oval Office.

That cowardly duo proceeded to disrespect him and the entirety of Ukraine with their horrific statements.

I have never been this embarrassed to be an American in my entire life.

Seeing it trending on Twitter that Tim Walz claims our country is being run by Nazis and Fascists.

Yeah, this is just true information. Every day of this administration I'm left astonished at how low we're truly going, and yet I'm not surprised either.

No, Ukraine did not start this war. Russia did. The dictator Putin started this unjust war eleven years ago.

An invasion three years ago escalated it.

Until now, The US had followed it's ideals as anti-oppression, and pro-democracy.

But now, Trump has bowed to Putin's will.

I'm in the Netherlands this week to foster business ties with companies looking to expand in Minnesota.

I've made similar trips as Governor, representing Minnesota around the world, but this time is different.

So it seems Russia sent a drone to Chernobyl Power Plant, which is contained for now.

We're not sure of the details yet, but the fact MAGAists would defend Russia over support for Ukraine is a troubling narrative for the future of our country.

The USA is making dictators its allies.

From Lieutenant Governor to our one of a kind US Senator.

Thank you for all you've done Senator Smith, and I hope you'll be able to help the rest of us keep this country from falling any further down.

Here's to hoping your successor proves to be a worthy one. Lord knows Minnesota needs it.

It's telling when Trump's first actions in office included changing the Gulf of Mexico's name to the "Gulf of America" and denying any existence racism, sexism, LGBTQphobia...

But he's done nothing to combat rising prices like he said he would.

You want a real leader? Tim Walz is right there.

Minnesotans have no tolerance for fraud.

That's why we created a state law enforcement unit to investigate and hold people accountable for these crimes, and why I'm calling on the legislature to pass our comprehensive anti-fraud package.

Some of the comments here are disturbing.

What's happening in Washington is the doing of MAGA only. It's a shame that MAGA is made up of Republicans, but the actions of Trump should not define the entire Republican Party.

Many patriotic Republicans have stood up to Trump.

Please, remember that.

Centralized power, censorship of media, endorsement of right-wing propaganda, a general belief that white men are the only capable Americans shows a belief in social hierarchy.

Say what you want, this is fascism at it's core.

The corrupt Trump administration is banning any acknowledgement that racism, bias, sexism, etc. exists at all in our country.

They've endorsed violence against LGBTQ Americans for just being themselves. They can and will endorse violence on more Americans who are against this corruption...

Democrats have 21 months to figure out a plan for the 2026 midterms.

They need to go back to their roots with the working class, stop relying on billionaries like Mark Cuban and JB Pritzker, and finally hone in on the populism that Republicans have exploited for the last decade.

Let's just hope.

Vice President Vance has essentially shown to us that he has no respect for the constitution, and would instead create a constitutional crisis by defying court orders made to stop this unprecedented and illegal breach of power by Musk and his cronies.

The US has no place for these criminals.
