Continuing through Krzysztof Kieślowski's filmography. I started at the beginning, alternating between youtube, SBS & Arrow's box set of his works for TV. I've still yet to see any of his final films or the Dekalog. It is a remarkable body of work even without them.

Most probably aren't aware that Billy Zane spent a chunk of his Titanic money on bringing an unproduced Ed Wood Jnr script to the screen in 1997. It has no dialogue, has an incredible cast of cameos from Eartha Kitt to John Ritter to JTT, & has never been legally released.

Saw them live a few years back, they were great. But that song needed to lead with the didgeridoo instead of having it as an afterthought so late on. It should have emphasised and supported the vocals. Listening again recently really drove home that point.

I finally saw I WOKE UP EARLY THE DAY I DIED almost 3 decades after it barely came into existence & it was worth the wait. A joyous load of LA cinema & Billy Zane being weird & sexy as only he can, but multiplied by Ed Wood Jnr. A kind of heaven.

Watching Lenzi's The Cynic, The Rat, And The Fist. 70s Italian crime films are, I assume having never seen it, the inspiration for The Devil Wears Prada. Bad bosses & primo fashion at the fore. This is also a good reminder that moustached John Saxon is always the best Saxon.

Revisiting Friday The 13th Part V: A New Beginning. I was always fond of this one. Now, all I can see is how ultra anime all the characters are, in sartorial choices, hairstyle, & performance. Like they just stepped out of one. It's making me like it more than ever.
