One of my favourite underrated Ontario birds is the Swamp Sparrow. They can be difficult to pick out until you learn to recognize their call. I was happy to spot a late one yesterday morning attempting to overwinter. 🌿🪶📷

That makes sense! I counted dorsal fin rays for my ID to try and exclude Silver but I didn't get the lip pic, I will definitely get it next time!
