It’s fine to have Daniels in the game at 38-7 with 11+ minutes left to get a positive drive and build momentum. What’s not fine is calling an RPO with him down 31 coming off injury. The coaches will have to explain that one.

I’m shocked Zaire Franklin was victimized in coverage. Absolutely shocked. 🤷‍♂️

A’ja is the best player and the Aces deserved to win the WNBA title. It shouldn’t be forgotten that the Fever took the Aces to OT in the final game of that series without 60% of their starting lineup and several key reserves out. If the Fever stays together, they’re scary.

Chris Jones not even giving an ounce of effort on that play is wild. 😳

No matter what happens on MNF, the #Colts enter Week 6 as the AFC’s top overall seed, just like we all predicted. 😅😅

How did Florida not get called for contact to the head or neck of Arch Manning when they literally ripped his helmet off?

Arizona’s kicker cost them the game. What was he thinking even putting that kickoff close to the 20 yard line. If Seattle doesn’t get the ball at the 40, they most likely play for OT.

That’s the truth. Idiotic penalty and should’ve never occurred, especially on a 60 yarder.

It’s 100% a leverage penalty. Surprised they called it but you won’t see a more obvious time to call that penalty. Weirdly enough, DEN got away with that a few years ago on a Colts missed FG to win it when it wasn’t called.

It was a pretty obvious leverage penalty. Surprised they called it but it was egregious.

It’s not the guy jumping over the LS. It’s the DT pushing the LS down immediately after the snap to allow the defender a better chance to jump over the LS. That’s what leverage is. You’re pushing the LS down to create leverage for your teammate to jump over cleanly.

Notre Dame getting absolutely hosed by the officials at Home is wild. It must be an SEC crew because there were some blatantly awful calls against ND in the targeting and multiple holding/tackling non-calls by the Texas A&M OL on that last drive.

Awful targeting call against ND there. Clearly did not meet all of the criteria required for it.

That’s an awful call on Dayo there.

Flacco could honestly light up the Bengals this weekend and it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest.

Shane Steichen is coaching scared by going with Jones over Richardson. #Colts need to move on from him.

Pain took football away from Andrew Luck; what brought him back to Stanford? Luck walked out on one locker room that needed him. He wasn't ready to walk away from another.

"I was gonna play until I was 40 or 45," Andrew Luck tells me.

To which I said, "Wait a minute, what?"

After it was over, he found himself in a fog. "I can't be 30 years old and retired. This is ridiculous."

Then something pulled him out of it:

The Raiders gambled and lost. I thought the house always wins though?

Yeah… no hating here. I’ve continuously said they are different players and do different things that they are both great at. The problem is Angel and her fans constantly compare her to CC or say she’s better than CC. They’re just different. And that’s ok.

14.07.2025 21:37 — 👍 0    🔁 0    💬 2    📌 1

She will be if she gets better players around here. I’m not arguing about anything. People do Reese, and to a point she does this to herself, a disservice comparing her to CC. She’s not. People need to lean into who she is and celebrate her for that.

I think his point was on those Pistons teams, Wallace wasn’t the best or second best player. Chauncey, Hamilton, Prince and Rasheed were arguably better players. If Angel keeps up this pace, she’ll be a Hall of Fame player, like Dennis Rodman.

14.07.2025 16:24 — 👍 2    🔁 0    💬 1    📌 1

I keep saying this but people always assume it’s a slight. It’s not.
Angel Reese is the female version of a young Dennis Rodman. He’s a Hall of Famer. She is the best in the W at what she does, which is rebound. She’s not a scorer. That’s fine. If she keeps up this pace, she’ll be in the HOF too.

But why? Angel hasn’t done anything to deserve this honor. There are so many more deserving players not named Caitlin.

The anti-CC crowd said she didn’t deserve to be the face of the W b/c she hadn’t done anything yet. CC went and proved it. She sold out arenas. Reese has a podcast and a trademark.

It’s wild the #Pacers will end up getting nothing for Turner after years of speculation they would trade him. Not only that but he goes to a division rival on a contract under $30M per year. Just a really tough look for the Blue and Gold. I’d expect them to trade for Utah C Lauri Markkanen soon.

LeBron’s nickname was “King James” his rookie year with a logo that included a crown so I’m not sure how much more anointed you can be.

The players can be mad at the media but Clark has shown nothing but respect fo WNBA players past and present so the disrespect from them is non-sensical to me.

I 100% agree with you on the legends who built the W. But what you described is jealousy and resentment. They hate Clark is the face of the league so early. And that’s a bad look for them. Use Clark to promote themselves in a positive light. This is an opportunity they are actively pushing away.

Any info you can share as to why players are so down on Plum and Clark would be enlightening.

And the players do seem to detest Clark at least. You see it in the on the court and in the media. Many seem petty and jealous that she’s getting the attention, whether fair or not, for raising the WNBA.

01.07.2025 13:43 — 👍 0    🔁 0    💬 1    📌 0

It does seem crazy about Plum. That was the biggest head scratcher to me. My guess is a lot of voting was done before Clark missed the past few games. At that point, she’s still one of the top 3 guards in most categories. Also, they certainly don’t guard her like she’s the 9th best guard.

💯. It seems like WNBA players really detest Plum and Clark. Not really sure why though because there’s no logical reason given the growth of the league.

01.07.2025 12:59 — 👍 0    🔁 0    💬 2    📌 0

Oh for sure. It’s just really interesting to see one group be basically identical while the other be very different. Like Plum being 6-6-16 or Clark 1-3-9 with Mitchell ahead of both of them in the player rankings is just an interesting perspective from the players. The media feels more accurate.
