Most Mainers don't even know about the tattoo. I'm not defending Platner's decision to keep the tattoo for so long, but if the choice is between him and someone who praises Collins and clearly doesn't want to be a Senator, it has to be Platner. No other credible candidates seem to be running.

That's far from the most egregious example, too. I remember when Trump was talking about invading Canada and Greenland (which he still is) and CNN called it "territorial expansion", which is QUITE the euphemism.

I appreciate the heart. I'm glad you don't seem like the type to think I'm responsible for Trump just because I live here (even though I voted against him). But I wouldn't necessarily blame you if you were.
