Sarah’s living room is just a pile of boxes. Like a hundred boxes. There’s also a cat and a hoagie.

Periodically my dad will show up to my house unannounced and do “is my daughter still insane” inspections. Usually I fail. Like the time there was a horseshoe crab* living in my kitchen? Yeah. I failed that time. That’s on me.

If he comes by any time soon I am definitely going to fail inspection.

Are there any fantasy artists seeing this who sell blank greeting cards of their work? I'm in the market, having run out of them.

Help my 9yo daughter! We walk past this oak every day in the way to school. This morning she noticed a mysterious gash at the base of the tree. We’re trying to figure out what caused it. Is it a human or a wild creature? I say human but she hopes not.

large 10-foot long tree trunk is hoisted straight up and out of a culvert manhole in a street intersection. the trunk is visibly waterlogged and nearly 3/4ths of the diameter of the manhole.

when people ask "what's the wildest thing you've ever pulled out of a sewer?" i'm going to just start answering "tree."
