Wrapped up my 3 year long D&D campaign tonight at Session 50. Feels good to have players so invested in our world 🙏

Interesting notes:
* SIR LANCELOT appears to be the most valuable / rarest
* METEOR DEFENSE is the most obscure. German PAL title?
* CAT TRAX for the Arcadia-2001 console (not pictured) is probably the weirdest

And the console I found is a 2600 JR "small rainbow" edition.

So I went for a bike ride and found a large box someone dumped with an Atari 2600, a bunch of games, and for some reason 40 copies of Super Breakout for Atari 5200. All have KB Toys stickers on them.

I guess I need to get some controllers? Any advice from #retrogaming or #atari2600 peeps?

the best weapon is a club btw. after that probably a mace, which is basically a club. the further you get from "the weapon was delivering the force of my message measured in physical exertion and as a transfer of my body's personal kinetic energy into the body of another," the more cowardly you are

A network map created in D3.js of all the links between documents in our Dungeons & Dragons lore wiki. Every node is a session summary, NPC, monster, etc and their size varies based on the amount of links.

In our D&D lore wiki, every link creates a relationship in the database. What if we could visualize that network across 6+ years of session summaries and worldbuilding notes?

WIP but the basic idea works & is automated. Now just needs a lot of tweaking of styling/responsiveness. #rpg #d3js #wiki
