Today my Hell's Vengeance table learned that there's a downside to the whole party being human.
07.02.2026 06:08 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Snippet from ABC live blog: The PM was asked if he'd be open to extending [the proposed hate groups laws], as put forward by the Greens, to sexuality or disability. "No, we'd accept that there's not a majority for the reforms that we were pursuing." he said.
Maybe I'm just cynical, but as a trans person I can't help but read this statement from the PM as saying that he doesn't care about hate groups so long as they target LGBTIQ+ people (or any other minority group that isn't politically convenient).
19.01.2026 11:54 β π 1 π 2 π¬ 0 π 0Running Hell's Vengeance for Pathfinder 1 has been the most fun I've had at the table in a long time. Having to justify murder and looting and all those awful things as the good guys sucks the fun out of the game as presented sometimes, so being the bad guys and skipping that step is good fun.

This bond allows the nerve to communicate telepathically with that creature so long as it is within 30 feet. The nerve tick can maintain any number of these bonds at a time, and can end a bond as a free action. Nerve Dampening (aura, mental, occult): A nerve tick dampens nerves in a small radius, preventing it from being detected by touch, even when climbing on a creature. AC: 18, Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3 HP: 6 Speed: 10 feet, climb 10 feet, fly 25 feet Melee [A] pincers +4 (finesse, reach 0 feet), Damage: 1d4β1 piercing Borrow Senses (mental, occult) [AAA] Requirements: The nerve tick is climbing on a creature; Effect: The nerve tick attaches to the required creatureβs nervous system, and can sense through the creatureβs senses. While attached, it can take no actions other than to detach as a single action. When the nerve tick detaches, or every 10 minutes it remains attached, the creature takes 2d4 mental damage with a DC 13 basic Will save. The creature is aware of this damage, but does not automatically determine the source of the damage.

It can form such a bond with a willing creature by spending 10 minutes during which it must touch that creature. The nerve tick can maintain any number of these bonds at a time, and can end a bond as a free action. Borrow Senses (Su): A nerve tick can attach itself to the nervous system of a creature it is climbing on and observe through the senses of that creature. Every 10 minutes it is borrowing a creatureβs senses, as well as when it detaches from the creatureβs nervous system, the target takes 1 Intelligence damage (DC 9 Will negates). The creature is aware of this damage, but does not automatically become aware of the nerve tick itself or its location. Nerve Dampening (Su): A nerve tick psychically dampens nerves within 1 inch of itself, allowing it to climb on a creature without being detected by touch.
The only thing worse than feeling a creepy crawly on your skin is *not* feeling the creepy crawly on your skin as it hooks into your nervous system and lets its friends know what you're looking at. For Pathfinder 1 and Pathfinder 2.

Steal: A treishines can Disarm using any of its beaks. When doing so, it uses Thievery in place of Athletics on the check. On a critically successful Disarm, or on a successful Disarm against an item thatβs already been successfully Disarmed, the treishines takes the item from the target and holds the item in its beak. Three-Headed Flurry [AAA]: The treishines makes a flurry of aggressive moves against a single creature. With each of its three heads, it makes a beak Strike, Disarm, or Goose Trick. All three attacks must be against the same creature. Each attack counts towards the treishinesβ multiple attack penalty, but the penalty does not increase until after all attacks have been made. Triple Honk [AA]: The treishines combines three honks to make a painful cacophony, dealing 5d6 sonic damage to all creatures in a 30-foot cone (DC 19 basic Reflex save). The treishines canβt use Triple Honk again for 1d4 rounds.

Reload: 2; Magazine: 10 charges; Expend: 5 Category: martial; Group: Sonic A number of these sonic rifles have been found in the hands of resistance fighters on various planets, and almost all are cobbled together from improvised parts with surprising quality. These weapons come with an integrated commercial fear projector. The weapons fire sound-amplified snippets of speech (typically slogans or commands) recorded via a built-in microphone. When you Strike with this weapon, on a failure or better you deal 1 point of mental splash damage per weapon damage die to the target, or to the target and all other enemies within 5 feet of it on a success or better. This splash damage is not doubled on a critical hit.
Seven similar weapons have been found to date, each on a resistance fighter on a different Veskarium- or Azlanti-occupied planet. Each had a different ironic name scrawled on it referring to disagreements on resistance tactics, such as "peaceful protest" or "marketplace of ideas". For Starfinder 2

31.01.2025 20:49 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Screenshot from Guardian Aus: Trans and gender diverse childrenβs care guidelines to be reviewed Krishani Dhanji The health minister, Mark Butler, has announced a review of the Australian standards of care and treatment guidelines for trans and gender diverse children and adolescents. The National Health and Medical Research Council will undertake the review and develop new national guidelines, with interim advice on the use of puberty blockers to be given in the middle of next year. Butler says the council will develop the guidelines alongside an expert committee that includes lived experience. States and territories are responsible for providing and administering services for gender diverse and trans young people. It comes after the health minister of Queensland this week announced a ban on puberty blockers for all new patients of the stateβs only gender clinic at the Royal Brisbane hospital.
