I run my entire board into the preamps. My tape echo for now is on my computer (AudioThing Outerspace, UA Galaxy, Audioirty PlexiTape). I’d consider the echo Fix for analog though. The Space Echo is great but I don’t care for the maintenance so I’ll just use ones in a pro studio.

The updated one. Im an odd ball who does reverb to trem to tape echo at the end of my chain. I like the preamp but I also run everything through studio grade preamps. The Gamechanger is definitely not traditional. I entertain the idea of getting one but I don’t think I’d use it enough.

I think spring is the Achilles heel for Strymon reverb. The Topanga is great and I don’t think I’d use much else for spring other than the Subdecay Super Spring Theory, Echo Fix (actual spring) or Gamechanger if I wanted something a bit wilder.

Clean. Been meaning to try the Soft Focus. I’ve enjoyed quite a few Catalinbread pedals. I liked the Talisman for plate. I do mostly studio work so I tend to use VSTs or a Bricasti for verb. Ive only tried the the Mixwave version of the Chimera but it is enjoyable. When I can I use a twin reverb.

I have a super spring theory. I like the controls. I have to solder in a new switch though. Have not tried the Topanga but I doubt you could go wrong with either.

I see a lot of the same people who are pro-protest change their tune the moment someone wants to protest tipping by not tipping.
