In a jaw-dropping post, Trump vowed to impose new voter ID requirements ahead of the midterm elections “whether approved by Congress or not.” Yes, you read that correctly. Not pass a law. Not persuade lawmakers. Just… do it.

The trump administration knows something the Dems won’t listen to. Stymieing behavior is enough to slow it or stop it.
