It is embarassing not to see the BBC pulling up Reform leaders claiming that Nathan Gill was just some fan who got photos taken with Farage - he was an MEP for them & their leader in Wales while taking cash from Russia to act against the UK! Literally the very basics of your job to point this out

London to get ยฃ36m boost in homelessness funding London will see the biggest share of the ยฃ84m being distributed across England's councils.

I welcome this investment from the government to help us transform the way we tackle homelessness and rough sleeping, putting prevention first.

London will receive ยฃ36.5m to support homelessness and rough sleeping services.

The BBC is slowly but surely destroying Radio 4 as well. Itโ€™s the last bastion of intelligent debate in Britain, yet itโ€™s increasingly becoming a vehicle for culture wars. When the history of the UK in this period is written, the BBC will have a lot to answer for when it comes to stirring division

Iโ€™ve always been clear that no one should have to sleep rough on our streets.

This additional funding from government will support our Rough Sleeping Action Plan and our work with London Councils to prevent people becoming homeless.

SHOCK POLL:
NIGEL FARAGE WILL BE PM TOMORROW
IN an amazing poll conducted
by The Pointless Polling Company, it was revealed that voters' intentions
may well change over the next three and a half years and at present it's 100 percent impossible to guess what the next government might look like.
However, 99 percent of journalists
agree that it would be much more fun if we had an election tomorrow and everybody resigned and everything was chaos and Farage had a go at being PM, just for the hell of it, because it was so much fun when
Brexit happened and then the government kept falling every five minutes and we could write endless pieces about (cont. p94)

Private Eye offers up an excellently scornful commentary on the relentless polling. Itโ€™s become ridiculous and has oversimplified our politics to dangerous levels of stupid and irresponsible.

Starmerโ€™s had a really productive trip to India. 10,600 jobs secured. Including 200+ for Wales. And huge market opened up for Scotch Whisky. Itโ€™s so refreshing to have a PM who consistently delivers for his Country ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Yes, ask Jenrick and Oakshott why it's a problem only seeing non white people, what's the issue, why should there be more white people than non white people, make these b*ggers say the quiet bit out loud.

First cataract surgery completed.

Very easy process. I had my left eye done first.

The colors!!!

Even though my left eye's focus will be fuzzy for a few days, the colors are AMAZING!

I feel like I've been dropped into a Pixar world.

I can't wait to get my right eye done next week!

Last week the Guardian ran a story using unnamed sources to claim Labour were going to charge fees to workers wanting to take their employer to tribunals.

People & unions got angry, despite no proof.

Now we get a story that apparently Labour hav rejectednthe plans following Union backlash...

This is what helps the working man, not splitting up families, deportations and removing workers' rights in a vile attempt to take us back to the 1940s.

Her effect was so huge because she took all the achievements of the welfare state, all the benefits of nationalised assets, all the benefits of a unionised workforce and the standard of living it afforded people. 40 years of work just smashed to bits and sold off for pennies. Just devastating.

London hits clean air milestone 184 years early - ULEZ makes 'big difference' A professor has branded the success a 'truly remarkable turnaround for the city's air quality'

Thanks to Londonโ€™s bold action, almost 10 million people are now breathing cleaner air.

That means fewer children will grow up with stunted lungs and fewer people will have to suffer from asthma, dementia and heart disease.

I sometimes worry I exaggerate the collective madness of our media but the people who cheered Brexit, Boris Johnson & Liz Truss's mini-budget are now applauding Kemi Badenoch's speech. 'Parallell universe' doesn't come close. I suppose her not falling over is a win of sorts for them at the moment.

More than ยฃ4bn in benefits will go unclaimed in London this year Sadiq Khan's campaign to help pensioners in London access the support they're entitled to will be extended to help more people.

Our Pension Credit campaign has helped almost 9000 London households secure life-changing financial support from the Government since February 2023.

But billions in benefits still go unclaimed across the capital. Thatโ€™s why Iโ€™m extending my campaign to help reach more Londoners.
