Some one had made a fabulous foil replica of the Charity Shield on Wembley Way post match.
Not quite as mahoosive as the real one but a beautiful thing, well done.

Club desperate to get some money for Guehi. Have a top replacement lined up, ready to go.
Guehi refuses to budge. His eye on the financial prize of a free next summer. Relations strained.
The Β£40-50m we'd miss out on would be the difference between building the Main Stand or not.
Again showing how little they know about CPFC the BBC said this
"Marc Guehi who as ever put every ounce of sweat and blood into his performance. Palace will be desperate for him to stay, amid links to Liverpool this summer."
Could not be further from the truth.
Spot the deliberate error in BBC match report:
"And Henderson stepped up when it counted most, saving two penalties at the same end where he stopped Omar Marmoush's spot-kick in May's cup final."
Modern football: Champions spend Β£300m, only to lose season curtain raiser.
Response? "They need to spend Β£140m more?!"
[Team that beat them spent Β£2m in the summer so far]
Loads who follow football really believe the 'true' competition is the transfer market, not on the pitch
Get it in the bin
There was definitely 'one' bloke chanting Eagles, deliberately, in the stadium, not the concourse.
Shame on him
If LFC fans not from Merseyside are Plastic Scousers, what does that make international LFC fans? AI fakes?

Iβve done bbc tv, itv & fivelive FAC coverage but Iβll have to seek out your BBC LDN comms.
The clips sent shivers down the spine
How many CFC rejects have Burnley bought now?
Can't they just get them on loan we used to always do?
I have no dog in the game of Glasgow rivalry.
I find the whole Celtic-Rangers thing driven more by hate of the other than love of one's own side.
But I think I going to experience a lot of schadenfreude re that Beard stroking tactical dogmatist at Rangers.
He's already blown up & rolled back
The amount of Ins & Outs at CFC is mind boggling
What a weird club.
What a weird model.
People deciding Parish is not very upbeat about CAS prospects should not be surprised.
It is about a 1/10 chance of a win, & people taking notice should've clocked this.
OG saying he's confident does not mean anything.
CPFC over whelmingly likely to lose the CAS appeal through no fault
Someone I know who's an accredited football agent told me he was on Β£300k a week.
I didn't read it in any random place. A football professional I trust, who has no reason to mislead me, told me that was his wage.
The structure of MUFC wages suggest this is plausible too.
MUFC desperately want rid of Rasmus HΓΈjlund.
Rasmus HΓΈjlund is earning Β£300k a week at MUFC.
Hence Rasmus HΓΈjlund doesn't want to leave and MUFC will find him hard to shift. He's simply not worth that wage, so other clubs won't pay it.
Loan with MUFC liable for bulk of his wages most likely.
At some point today the CAS panel is going to say to Palace representatives:
'Is that it? Are you not going to make some legal points?'
Iβm not so sure
07.08.2025 23:06 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A shame to see an end between the partnership of Stonewall & Premier League, with an end of the Rainbows Laces initiative.
I hope Marc Guehi' stance in writing 'I heart Jesus' & 'Jesus Loves You" on his rainbow armband has not played too much of a part with this.
At the time it came out I worked in an office (the experience of which showed me I could not have a career in which offices were a part).
The Office was far too close to the bone for me to be able to watch it first time around.
I found it excruciatingly realisitc & only watched it on re-runs later
Must be hugely galling for MUFC & their fans to see the success of their ex players
McTominey Balon D'Or nomination, Elanga prowess, Henderson Eng No 2 & AWB PotY all massive indictments of the toxicity of MUFC
Remember the derision & disrespect so many MUFC fans, managers treated McTominey with?!
I said when Michael left for Bayern he'd be in the Balon D'Or picture at some point.
I didn't think it would be quite so immediate.
Most skilful CPFC ever, such a shame his time with us was curtailed so much by injuries. With a full season of MO we could've really impacted the top of the table
Marc doesn't want to leave now. He's holding out for a free next summer, much to the club's frustration.
Has long been on the cards.
CFC might be different, but LFC were never going to pay circa Β£40m now, when a nod & a wink could see them get him for nowt in 26. Suits Marc too. Far higher wages
'Innocent' verdicts in sex cases rarely reflects the likelihood of guilt.
How few sex assaults get to court?!
And of those that do, a TINY % end in conviction.
It's a modern day scandal that shames all of us.
I have no doubt TP is guilty, but also know he's v v likely to be declared 'innocent'.
"Parteyβs lawyer, Jenny Wiltshire, has said previously that he βdenies all the charges against himβ and that he welcomed βthe opportunity to finally clear his nameβ."
I'll bet Partey welcomes court.
When only 3% of sex assault cases result in convictions I just bet he does.
TBF I have recently seen some AFC fans bemoaning their clubs (in)actions over Partey, which is more than I did the entire time the scandal of him remaining and re-signing for the club endured.
I'd be ashamed if CPFC did that. (Like I has ashamed by SJ & Cos appalling behaviour - NOT rape though!)
Seriously, I found the Arse fans backing of Partey, despite the gamut of damning evidence in the public sphere, one of the most shameful episodes in recent football.
That's before you get to AFC standing by their 'asset'.
It's all an absolute scandal. TP should've been out on his ear & charged
How did we get from all Arsenal apologists giving it 'He's innocent until proven guilty' to this?
www.theguardian.com/football/202...
Lerma IS a CB, he often played there for AFCB. It is not speculative, his assured sub appearance in FAC final shows he can be a top level CB too.
They are trying to get an international loan in at CB in addition.
But OG defo sees JL as a CB primarily. He likes a smaller squad
I think this is a very good point
