I was just reminded by an old movie that if you opened the door to a car from the 70s, it made a noise like the horn was stuck and the battery was dying.

Started Homicide: Life on the Street, and Corcetti (Coens reg Jon Polito) is the conspiracy guy. He was spouting about how Lincoln was actually killed by a Confederate plot (remember when conspiracies were fun?) and a guy goes, “oh I see. Unanswered questions are actually proof of fact!”

There’s a briefing scene— “As you know, half the crew are dead. There are monsters all over the ship. But also we’re out of fuel, comms & navigation are down, and the ship is barreling toward earth. Oh, one of you is a saboteur” and they all yell at a guy eating a hot pocket, get bored and leave.

In case you thought the Dumb People In Space genre couldn’t get dumber than Prometheus/Covenant, Alien:Earth Ep5 has a spaceship crew where every member independently does something so stupid it would cause the everyone to die no matter what.

From 93-95 my buddy and I would seek out the wildest movies. We watched it on a 13” tv in his living room. We lol’d at the absurd satire, sat with our discomfort at the homoerotic stuff, and by the end, went “wtf did we just watch”. Earned its place in my mind in the “most fucked up” pantheon.
