P3F had a visit from @therhet.bsky.social going through some ‘Moo Maths’🐄 we all had a great time working out milk related problems! Thank Moooo Katie and Valerie!🐮

Today we researched planets using iPads and books, then we started our fact files about our teams planet. 🪐 🌍

P3 have been busy bees for their first week back 🐝
In teams, they worked on a STEM challenge to build a chair for our classroom teddies that had to stay standing for 10 seconds. Ask your child if they were able to complete the challenge….

P3F have worked very hard to hit their targets this week, to celebrate we are having a movie afternoon tomorrow! Children can bring a blanket/teddy from home and a little snack for this if they want!🎬🍿

P3 have been practicing their addition skills this week. That’s have been challenging themselves to see how far they could get on the chilli challenge 🌶️🌶️🌶️

We were using different things around our class to make sums and started our Sumdog competition. Log on to Sumdog at home to complete tasks and gain more points!🥇🥈🥉

P3 got their homework folders today to bring home - we will start spelling on Tuesday, reading books go out every Friday, to be returned the following Thursday.

A wonderful Wednesday in P3F. We were working on Place value and if we want to do extra practise at home, we could play Place Value basketball on top marks on our iPads/tablets. We also wrote a summary of the chapters we have read in our class novel, and created puppets so we can retell the story.

We have been working hard, as a team, to create the dragon from ‘The Boy Who Grew Dragons’. We used a variety of different materials and it’s looking fab. All will be revealed when our parents come in to the Meet the Teacher event.
