We have been exploring place value by representing and partitioning numbers using tens and ones.

We junk modelled our own bee hotels, making sure they have shelter, plenty of holes, and are waterproof for our bees!

Today we hung up our very own bee hotel just in time for the solitary bees to hibernate 🐝❄️

Today P2 were visited by a beekeeper. We got to try on beekeeping suits, taste honey and learn lots of new facts about bees! 🐝

On Friday we explored our playground to look for signs of Autumn 🍂

We have been learning about what a plant needs to grow. This morning, we planted our bulbs, which I’m sure our bees will love come spring 🐝🌻

Today we explored adjectives to describe a character from Supertato! We also used a range of media to describe our partners. 🗣️

Today we predicted what we think might happen in the book Supertato: Books are Rubbish! Tomorrow we’ll read the story together to check if our predictions were right 🥔✨

This letter went home today regarding our joint reading event📚

Thriving outdoors during an outdoor learning opportunity 🌳 We were identifying trees in our playground by their leaves.

As Wallacestone Change Makers, we are planting flowers to help the bees. Today, we cleared the planters to get them ready for our flowers. 🐝🌸

We had a very messy spelling session in P2 today using foam. Why not give it a go at home? ✨

As Wallacestone Change Makers, we are learning how to ‘Bee a superhero!’ We can’t wait to make a difference and share our learning with our school community 🐝.

Home Learning folders have been sent home today. The children should bring these to school everyday. Reading books will be sent home every Friday and should be returned the following Thursday.

Common Word walls will follow after the children have all be assessed 😊
